Mind and body are an integrated system that cannot be separated. This has been
widely proven scientifically in recent decades. However, it actually has its origins in
ancient wisdom from oriental cultures.
The body does not function in isolation; it is consistently influenced by the mind
through thoughts, feelings and beliefs systems.
A physical condition or an illness that presents itself in the body affects the whole
system and as a result brings about an amount of psychological distress.
Researches have shown that an incessantly active mind can be an obstacle for
the body thereby preventing it from restoring itself and consequently healing.
In order to help Mind and Body as an integrated whole Laura Neme established
the “restore well being” programme that aims to bring back the body/mind
balance allowing healing to take place gradually.
